A welcoming little nursery where big adventures begin!

The Mulberry Bush Nursery is nestled within the grounds of St Augustine's School in Stamford, providing a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment for our children to learn, play and grow.

Our nursery is a purposefully arranged, single-storey building with a lovely homely feel. Inside, we have three dedicated rooms – Baby Room, Toddler Room and Pre-School – each thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of children at different stages of their development.

We believe that a child's environment plays an important role in their learning and development. That's why we have created calm, inviting spaces with natural colours, accessible resources and plenty of opportunities for children to explore, investigate and make their own choices.

Bringing the Outdoors In 🌳

We are passionate about giving children opportunities to explore the world around them. Our outdoor spaces provide a wonderful extension of our indoor learning environment, encouraging fresh air, physical activity, imagination and discovery.

Whether it's exploring nature, enjoying outdoor play or simply getting a little muddy, we believe some of the best childhood memories are made outside!

Our nursery benefits from a single-storey layout, with ramped access to the building, helping to create a welcoming and accessible environment for our children and families.

We take pride in making our nursery feel warm, friendly and personal. While our building may not be the biggest, we believe it's what happens inside that truly matters – the laughter, friendships, learning, care and wonderful memories made every single day.

At The Mulberry Bush Nursery, our building is much more than four walls. It's a place where little feet explore, little hands create and little minds grow! 🌿

Big adventures, little explorers and endless opportunities to discover!

At The Mulberry Bush Nursery, we believe that some of the best learning happens outdoors! We are incredibly lucky to have a lovely outdoor space where our children can run, climb, explore and discover the wonderful world around them.

Our outdoor environment provides endless opportunities for children to develop their confidence, independence and imagination. From climbing and balancing to digging, building, exploring nature and getting wonderfully muddy, every experience is an opportunity to learn something new.

We love encouraging children to use their natural curiosity, whether that's discovering a tiny insect, collecting autumn leaves, splashing in puddles or simply enjoying the fresh air.

Outdoor play is also a wonderful way for children to develop their physical skills, build friendships, solve problems and learn to take safe, age-appropriate risks.

We believe that outdoor learning is just as important as learning indoors, which is why we encourage children to enjoy our outdoor spaces throughout the seasons, embracing everything that nature has to offer.
